“Art Beyond Boundaries – Brazil: Diversities in Dialogue” (Arte Além das Fronteiras – Brasil: Diversidades em Diálogo) is an exhibition of Japanese painting at the Ivandro Cunha Lima Cultural Space of the Federal Senate of Brazil in Brasília. Organized by Instituto Sumi-e Brasil in cooperation with the International Association of Sumi, it brought together about 80 artists from Japan, Brazil and 21 other countries.

Depicting Brazilian nature through traditional Japanese painting techniques, the exhibition conveys the universal themes of harmony with nature and environmental preservation.

At the opening, Ambassador Yasushi Noguchi praised the initiative and expressed his hope that Japanese art will carry a message of friendship to the people of Brazil and the world.
