Spread Sumi-e to the world!

The “Art Beyond Boundaries (ABB) in Your Country” Project

Guided by the belief that a love for art and beauty transcends borders and generational divides, the International Association of SUMI has organized “Art Beyond Boundaries (ABB).” Our exhibition serves as a platform to showcase art—primarily Sumi-e—from around the world and to foster warm friendships through artistic exchange.

This project, “ABB in Your Country,” was created in response to strong requests from participants of ABB in Tokyo who wished to promote Sumi-e painting in their own countries. We organize this to support artists around the world who are dedicated to spreading Sumi-e.
